Location - house

We decided to film the indoor scenes of our film in our friends house. We decided he had a good house because it looks like it called be a haunted house, as its quiet old and spooky, so it adds an element of fear. Also its a very large house so we can play around with a range of shots, as we can have many long shots, compared to a a smaller house were would be much more cramped and we could only get mid and close up shots. Also, there are lots of creepy objects in the house, such as a stuffed crow. A lot of the house has a red and black colour scheme. This will look stylish, and will also suit our genre of horror because red and black are associated with films. There is lots of staircase in the house which we can use for chase scenes and will make interesting shots, especially if we use a titled angle. This house is also a good location because all the houses on the street are big and old, this fits the conventions of horror films.
