The Bourne Supremacy

The Bourne Supremacy

the character asking questions has more light on his face so we focus more on him

but he also has more unflattering shadows, makes him seem sketchy and a bad character
filmed so the man in suit is higher up, shows dominance
interrogator is always in the shot, makes him seem close and makes the other person feel trapped
hand held camera – realism and puts the viewer on edge
greater intimacy with the  guy being asked questions
keeping him in the shot means we are waiting for for something to happen
lots of edits in the fight, tense, fast pace, lots of camera work
lots of diagetic souds(clicking with gadgets) also nondiagetic sounds (tense music)
lots of quick mid shots (high speed editing)
fairly slow paced, smooth shots until action starts and suddenly the cameras very shaky and moves around a lot rather than still camera shots
camera goes from focusing on one object in his hand to the other, makes us feel like we are him looking at his hands, makes the film feel more realistic and engaging
